Decades of hands-on machinery, converting, and plant experience.
Executive leadership, printing and converting expertise, plant management, laboratory leadership, Lean Six Sigma, new-plant construction, and capital projects up to approximately $100 million across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and with European-built machinery serving North America.
B.S. in Chemistry and M.S. in Chemistry, providing the analytical foundation for ink, coating, adhesive, and substrate work across printing, converting, and extrusion processes.
Senior operating and general-management leadership in printing and converting businesses, including P&L accountability, multi-site oversight, turnaround leadership, and strategic planning.
Leadership of capital projects up to approximately $100 million, including new-plant construction, greenfield expansions, new production lines, and major equipment installations.
Executive & general management
Senior operating and general-management responsibility in printing and converting businesses, including P&L accountability, strategic planning, team building, and turnaround leadership across multi-site manufacturing operations.
Machinery & OEM experience
Direct engagement with printing, converting, extrusion, laminating, coating, slitting, and finishing equipment builders — including engineering support, application development, installation supervision, startup, commissioning, and after-sales technical service. Engagements are project-based; no exclusive representation is implied.
Printing operations
Hands-on experience with web and sheet-fed processes: flexography, rotogravure, and digital printing. GAA-level expertise in rotogravure troubleshooting, pressroom training, cylinder and doctor-blade practice, ink and solvent management, color, and print-defect diagnosis.
Converting & extrusion operations
Plant experience across blown-film extrusion, cast-film extrusion, extrusion coating, coating, lamination, slitting, rewinding, bag and pouch converting, and finishing lines. Focus on process capability, tension and web-handling, roll quality, waste reduction, and throughput on packaging, label, and specialty substrates.
Plant management & capital projects
Plant-management responsibility plus feasibility studies, capital planning, equipment specification, vendor evaluation and negotiation, plant layout, utilities, installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up for new lines, greenfield plants, and expansions up to approximately $100 million.
Analytical laboratory leadership
Analytical and applications laboratory leadership: substrate, adhesive, ink, and coating qualification; pilot-scale trials; test-method development; and laboratory design supporting product development and process qualification.
Continuous improvement & quality
Deployment of Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, OEE, SMED, SPC, and root-cause analysis to reduce scrap, improve first-pass yield, stabilize processes, and raise throughput across printing, converting, and extrusion operations.
EHS compliance
Environmental, health, and safety compliance planning and support for new and expanded lines, including solvent and emissions considerations, machine guarding, and operator-safety practices in printing and converting environments.
Recruiting & technical staffing
Sourcing and evaluation of Flexo and rotogravure pressmen, converting operators, maintenance technicians, and technical leadership for printing and converting facilities.
International & cross-border work
Project and technical work spanning the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and project-based collaboration with European machinery manufacturers whose equipment serves North American converters.
